3rd Division ends with Så nææære on top after a brutal final lobby
The Nordic Championship continues to underline Esport Arena’s ambition for PUBG FPP in the region: structured competition, clear divisions, and a long-term arena where Nordic teams can meet on equal competitive terms. The tournament is open to Nordic teams, played in FPP, and built around a division system where the highest levels are placed in Elite divisions while 3rd Division and below are Standard divisions with larger lobbies.
Esport Arena describes itself as a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization, built around the values of Norwegian voluntary sport and focused on fair, structured competition for the players. The Nordic Championship is part of that broader mission, with two planned seasons per year and the top team in 1st Division earning the Nordic Champion title.
For teams, the practical side of the tournament is handled through earena.no and the Esport Arena Nordics Discord. Teams are expected to find their division on the tournament page, check the Lobbyinfo tab, note their lobby slot, and follow the official lobby channels on game day. Esport Arena also states that lobby information such as server name, password, remake calls and admin messages are handled through the designated Discord lobby channels, making communication and readiness a key part of match operations.
Så nææære win 3rd Division
When the final results were locked in, Så nææære stood at the top of the 3rd Division table with 296 total points. Their season was built on a strong combination of placement points and aggression: 74 placement points, 222 kills, and 41,180 damage. Even with only one win, their consistency across fights and rounds gave them enough of a gap to finish ahead of the field.
Behind them, Grumpy Old Bastards I secured second place with 266 points, powered by the highest number of wins in the lobby: six victories. Their 190 kills and 36,368 damage made them one of the most complete teams in the division.
Third place went to Grumpy Old Bastards II, finishing on 256 points. With 185 kills and 43,621 damage, they actually posted the highest damage total among the top three, showing how close the fight for the podium really was.

Promotion to 2nd Division – but with a disclaimer
Så nææære and Grumpy Old Bastards I secured with 1st and 2nd position their ascent to 2nd Division next season – provided the tournament format is continued as planned this season. The evaluation is open, and all players get to have their say – not only on the tournament quality but also on the structure/format of the tournament going forward. Esport Arena and the NC admin team will listen to the feedback from the players and teams, and are open for changes going forward, with the intent to improve and create the best and most attractive tournament possible for the teams and players.
A lobby decided by pressure, not only wins
The final table shows how punishing PUBG scoring can be. Grumpy Old Bastards I had six wins, far more than the champions, but Så nææære’s 222 kills gave them the decisive edge. BetaFrost Blue and Grumpy Old Bitches were also within striking distance of the podium, finishing only four and five points behind third place.
Further down the table, teams like Trønderbataljonen Selvskudd, Track pussycats and MUST showed strong placement ability, while Hawk Thyi and x3600 leaned more heavily on kill output. That balance between survival, rotation and fighting power is exactly what makes a division lobby hard to control across a full season.
The 3rd Division final therefore ends with a clear winner, but not a one-sided story. Så nææære earned the title through firepower and consistency, while the rest of the top six kept the pressure alive until the end. In a Nordic Championship structure built to give teams meaningful, repeated competition, this lobby delivered exactly what the format promises: close margins, visible progression and a final table that rewards both aggression and discipline.
