WELCOME TO THE NORDIC FUTURE OF PUBG FPP!

Community-driven esports
The Winter League opened for Nordic participation and proved that there is strong interest in competitive PUBG FPP across the Nordic region. With a great response from teams and the wider community, the tournament became an important first step toward building something bigger.
Nordic Championship is built on the idea of community-driven esports. Our ambition is to create a strong and lasting competitive environment for Nordic PUBG, where teams can compete, develop, and keep the FPP scene active and exciting. By building on the success of earlier events, we want to take the Nordic community to the next level together.
To maintain momentum and continue recruiting teams, the first new tournament will be launched shortly. At the same time, we are working on a new platform that will significantly improve the player experience in future events. With better tools, better structure, and a clearer competitive framework, we aim to deliver tournaments that are more professional, more accessible, and more engaging for everyone involved.

Eligibility and rules
Nordic Championship is open for all Nordic teams. At least three players on a team needs to be from Nordic countries, so maximum 1 non-Nordic player per team.
We are playing FPP only - otherwise following standard e-sport rules and point system for PUBG.
Read draft for rulebook v. 1.1 here (PDF). Final rulebook will be decided before sign-up opens.
Division system
Lobbies are organized in Divisions. 1st division will be for the highest tiered teams, while lower divisions are available for mid and low tiered teams. 1st and 2nd Division are considered «Elite», and will have 16 team lobbies.
3rd and lower Divisions are considered «Standard». Lobbies here have cap size of minimum 14 and maximum 18 teams. In standard Divisions we also reserve the right to deny
participation for players with significantly higher skill-level than the general
division level. This is in order to protect the integrity of the division system, and make sure players on all levels can have a good time.
We will ensure fair seeding, and cooperate with country representatives to achieve this.
Two seasons per year
Nordic Championship has two seasons per year (spring and autumn). Top team in 1st division will be awarded the Nordic Champion title.
In 2026 we started with the Nordic Championship Prologue, where SIMPS was crowned Winners after a spectacular finnish. We are using the results from the prologue to seed teams into the Nordic Championship for the spring season in 2026.

Both scrims and tournaments are using Discord for news, lobby information etc.
All participating teams must have at least one player watching lobby info and chat channels during matches. This is especially important in the beginning of games, to catch any remake calls by lobby host or admin-team.

Trophy for top 3
Top 3 teams in every division will be awarded digital trophy to showcase their performance on their team page.
Prize Pool
The Prize Pool can consist of both merchandise, gear and money.
We are working to ensure a decent prize pool, already from the spring season if possible. Stay tuned for updates.
