The Norwegian League in spring 2026!

The Norwegian PUBG spring league starts on March 2, 2026! We look forward to seeing you!
The Norwegian League consists of several divisions with approximately 16 teams in each division. The number of divisions depends on participants. The league will run over 6 rounds, but for the 1st division there will also be final days with two intense rounds - i.e. 8 rounds in total. Each round is played with 6 maps (MMRTEE).
Match days in rounds 1-5 are Mondays for 3rd division and below, Tuesdays for 2nd division, and Wednesdays for 1st division.

Norgesligaen PUBG follows PUBG's official e-sports rules. We use the FFP perspective as a form of competition. In addition, Norgesligaen Esport Arena follows its overall regulations, as well as its own tournament regulations.

Short extract of the most important rules:
- In matches, teams may use a maximum of one international player, others must have a permanent residential address in Norway or have Norwegian citizenship.
- International players must be registered on the team before the start of the tournament (and cannot be picked up during the tournament).
- Teams must have at least three players in the lobby to start a match.
- Teams must follow the information provided on Esport Arena PUBG Discord.
- Registered: The players must be registered on Earena.no, this means both in the team, but also with PUBG player account his on his profile.

Esport Arena is a voluntary organization that operates according to principles from the voluntary sector and a model from Norwegian sport. This means that we focus exclusively on sporting conditions in the planning and execution of events.
We have the opportunity to bring in partners who wish to contribute to the development of Norwegian e-sports in accordance with our values and ethical guidelines.

How can I join if I don't have a team or enough players on the team?
We have a separate player market here on the website. You can manage your status in the player market from My Arena, on the «Accounts» tab.
On our Discord server, we also have dedicated channels for you to post that you are looking for teams - or that your team is looking for players.

THE WAY FORWARD
It has already been decided to run the Norwegian League over two seasons in 2026. Exact dates and tournament layouts will be designed based on the experiences we make and the feedback we receive in the fall of 2025. The results from the fall league will qualify for division placement in the spring of 2026.
There is a long-term approach to further development. Giving players the best touring experience is the goal. To achieve this, we need resources, predictability and continuous development in dialog with the participants.
"An important perspective for us is to ensure a high status for the tournament. We do this in several ways, but using results from the tournament as a basis for qualifying for other tournaments, both nationally and internationally, is obviously key. Strong support for the Norwegian League will be the most important factor in strengthening our cards in this work. Our main focus now is therefore a strong implementation of the Norwegian league in the fall of 2025, and then continue to work on this into 2026.
Norgesligaen is organized by Esport Arena, and has no connection to the Norwegian state or other official organizations.
