2. Refrain from discrimination and hate speech

As a visitor to this website, you are obliged to refrain from expressing yourself in a way that discriminates against or degrades others on the basis of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or other attributes that you attribute to groups or individuals. We have zero tolerance for hate speech of any kind.

3. Acceptance of the privacy policy

By using the Site, you agree to the Privacy Policy. When registering a user, this includes accepting the storage of mandatory information, including the storage of IP addresses for as long as the user is registered. The purpose of storing IP addresses is to prevent and detect various forms of cheating.

4. Commitment to Fair Play

All visitors are obliged to behave in line with our core values «PRO-play»:

This includes a commitment to Fair Play, which means that players will refrain from using any unauthorized aids. As a general rule, this includes all forms of assistance when shooting, macros, radar/wall hacks, third-party software to change graphics beyond the standard for graphics cards, etc.

For further information on what is permitted and what is not, please refer to the general regulations, tournament regulations, as well as the applicable rules for the individual gaming platform and the individual game.

5. Acceptance of consequences of suspected or detected cheating

Esport Arena cooperates with third-party suppliers of anti-cheating software as stated on the website. We would like to point out that agreements may be made with new suppliers who are able to detect cheating also in the past, which will be considered valid by us.

By registering as a user, you also agree that relevant information about your user will be communicated to third-party anti-fraud software for verification. This may also include a requirement for you to register with the third party to undergo verification. Failure to comply with this without undue delay will result in sanctions as for cheating.

Cheating detected through the games' built-in anti-cheating solutions or third-party anti-cheating software will result in sanctions. This includes exclusion from all Esport Arena events and tournament platform. Awarded prizes will be demanded to be refunded/returned. Please note that a police report may also be considered and filed in some cases. 

Player accounts that are caught cheating are published on our platforms (website and Discord). 

By registering and participating in competitions with us, you accept such consequences when there is an assessment that cheating has occurred, and waive any claim against Esport Arena as a result of our assessment that cheating has occurred, sanctions such as exclusion, etc., and other effects (including financial loss) that this may have for you and others.

6. Responsibilities

Esport Arena strives to facilitate a positive and inclusive environment for players, and competitions for both the width and the top of Norwegian e-sports. Although we assume responsibility for facilitating this, as a voluntary organization, we do not have the opportunity to be liable for damages if unfortunate events occur - including data theft, scam, spam, personal attacks or the like. All use of our websites and services is therefore at the user's own risk. 

Esport Arena cannot be held liable for financial losses, social/individual problems or other negative consequences that may arise directly or indirectly from the use of our platforms and services. Esport Arena disclaims responsibility for all errors, omissions and incidents that may affect users in an unfortunate way. By continuing to use our website and services, the user accepts this.
