— but Division 1 is far from decided
After two rounds of the Nordic Championship, Division 1 already has a clear team to chase. Cooked Units have opened the season in brutal form, sitting on 143 points after back-to-back round wins – and 3 sweet chicken dinners. With 86 kills, 57 placement points, and nearly 16,000 damage, they have not just taken the lead — they have made a statement.
But this is not over. Not even close.
The official tournament page confirms Division 1 has 16 teams and 7 rounds, meaning there are still five full rounds left to play. That is a huge amount of PUBG still on the table, especially in a format where one explosive evening can completely reshape the standings.
Behind the leaders, Mentally Unstable are keeping the pressure alive in second place with 113 points. They may be 30 points behind Cooked Units, but they have already shown enough consistency to remain a real title threat. If Cooked Units slip even slightly, Mentally Unstable are close enough to punish them.
The real drama starts just behind them. Grindr sit third on 94 points, while stfu! OG’s and KUPARI KARTELLI are tied on 78. That means the battle for the podium is already wide open. One strong round from any of these teams could launch them into the title conversation — and one bad round could send them tumbling into the pack.
Further down, 60HZ, MEMO, NWP, and EGKT are all within striking distance of the top five. This middle group is dangerous: they have enough points to attack upward, but not enough comfort to play safe. Expect chaos here. These are the teams that can blow up the leaderboard if they start converting kills into placement points.
What makes the table especially exciting is the contrast between momentum and pressure. Cooked Units have the perfect start, but now everyone is hunting them. Mentally Unstable need to keep the gap manageable. Grindr must prove Round 1 was not just a peak. And teams like KUPARI KARTELLI, 60HZ, and Klovner i Kamp have already shown they can produce big rounds.
With five rounds remaining, Division 1 is balanced on a knife-edge. Cooked Units are in control — but in PUBG, control can disappear in one rotation, one third-party, one bad crash, or one early wipe.
The message after two rounds is simple: Cooked Units lead the championship, but the title race is only just beginning.
